Teacher Notes

A. Prior to the lesson:

1. Arrange students into groups. Each group needs at least ONE person who has a mobile device.

2. If their phone camera doesn't automatically detect and decode QR codes, ask students to

• Download a QR reader (e.g. I-Nigma | NeoReader | Kaywa) onto their mobile devices
• Bring these devices into the lesson.

3. Print out the QR codes.

4. Cut them out and place them around your class / school.

B. The lesson:

1. Give each group a clipboard and a piece of paper so they can write down the decoded questions and their answers to them.

2. Explain to the students that the codes are hidden around the school. Each team will get ONE point for each question they correctly decode and copy down onto their sheet, and a further TWO points if they can then provide the correct answer and write this down underneath the question.

3. Away they go! The winner is the first team to return with the most correct answers in the time available. This could be within a lesson, or during a lunchbreak, or even over several days!

1. To find the next clue, you must first, do 10 jumping jacks while reciting the alphabet. Second, look under the table to find the next step.	Door To Room 220.
2. If you forgot to brush your teeth this morning, you can use one mind each to mask the bad smell. While eating the mint, you must spin around 10 times and then look behind you on Door 221 for your next clue.
3. Now that you are in front of room 123, you must do 5 push-ups and then look behind the door of room 124. Door 124 will have your next clue.
4. Use a calculator to find the answer to the following question. 50 - 50 +12 - 6 - 4 -2 + 100 + 100 - (100	1) + 200 - 100 + 67. When you find the answer, walk to that room to find your next clue.
5. If you get sick at school, you would report to this room. If you are not sure what we are talking about, figure out the answer to this question and find your next clue on the door to this room. 1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 20 + 20 + 25 + 25 + 50 + 50.
6. Go to the stage and find the green screen.
7. Hop from here to the concession stand.
8. Walk backwards from here to the picture of Abraham Lincoln.
9. Now that you found Abe, report directly to Wrigley Field.
10. You were lucky, unlike the Cubs, to find this field. Now report to Room 227 to find your next clue.
11. 227 is where you stand. Subtract 12 and find this room. (227-12).
12. Okay...Okay....the game is almost over. Back to the Stage to find your last clue.
