Semmelweiss - He forced pyhsicians at this clinc to wash their hands and he prevented many deaths among women who had given birth but nobody believed him because he had no explanation.

 
Joseph Lister - he developed semmelweiss' idea and proved to people that keeping theatres clean prevent infection and death after surgery. He invented the carbolic spray which cleaned everything in the theatre.

 
Versalius - He challenged Galen's ides and rebelled against the church and stole bodies to rebuild them and correct Galen's theories.

 
William Harvey - He discovered that blood goes around the body and valves only let blood through one way and that the body does not remake blood so then the treatment of bleeding could be eliminated.
