William Wordswoth is one of the most important author of the first generation of the Romantic Literature of the end of the 17 century.
 
After the grammar school, William went up to college of Cambridge. In 1797 he met the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge,
 
His friendship with Coleridge was crucial to the development of romantic poetry. They spent much time toghether for writing, talking.
 
The results of this friendship was a collection of poems called LYRICAL BALLADS; appared for the first time in the 1798.
 
But the edition of 1800 contained the PREFACE OF THE LYRICAL BALLADS, that is considered ENGLISH ROMANTIC MANIFESTO.
 
The central theme of the work, is the NATURE that is the source of the poet's inspiration. The two poets, for compose the work, agreed to divede the tasks.
 
William describes common events written in a ordinary language while Coleridge talk about the fantastic nature and the supernatural elements.
 
Another important work of William Wordsworth is the poem called I WANDERED LONELY AS A CLOUD, the scene describes his peopled not by other man but by nature.
 
The crowd he sees his made up of golden daffodils, that they are located in landscape, they are also seen to move continually in a dance, and the flowers seen to feel the some pleasure as the poet.
