This battle is mainly considered a tunnel warfare battle in which France held German forces from capturing more french territory. This can be seen in the middle east as many palestinian forces use them when fighting.

An offensive attempt to relive pressure on Verndun troops that failed. This is similar to the U.S fight on ISIS as it has done very
little but caused lots
