Survey Question
There was 160 people that took the survey. The first step is to subtract 2 (the number of those who believed in all 3) from those who believed in two of the options. Once we have done that, we will have 2 people that believe in Bigfoot and UFOs, 4 that believe in Bigfoot and Ghosts, and 9 that believe in ghosts and UFOs. Finally, we work our way to the outside. To find the true number of those who believe in UFOs, Bigfoot, and Ghosts, we need to subtract the intersected values for the particular option. For example, UFO would be: 42 - 2 - 2 - 9 = 29. Once this step is completed for the other two options, we sum all of the values from the circles and intersections resulting in 89 who believe in at least one option.
