Islam
The Quran is one of the
Islam holy books. Faces Makkah when praying, and Muslims must make a pilgrimage to Makkah. The last prophet was Muhammad, and any pictures/statues of religous leaders are discourached.
Christianity
Christianity was founded by Jesus and was formed after his crucifixion in 33 A.D.. The followers are commonly known as Christians , and the religion originated as a Jewish sect. They pray in a church.
Judaism
Judiasm is the oldest of the three religions. The followers are commonly referred to as Jews, and their church is called a synagogue. The old testament is their only holy book.
Both believe in both the old and new testaments. Both recognize Jesus . Both believe their religion is for all.
Believe Abraham is the father of their people.
Both Believe in the old testament.
Monotheis-tic, all originated in the Middle East.
Middle East Religions
Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all have their similarities and their differences. It is safe to assume that each religion shares common beliefs, but obviously may disagree in certain beliefs as well. Connections can be made between individual religions or with all of the religions as a whole.
