Triple Venn Diagram

I enjoy reading all three of the poems, but I really enjoy reading I, Too and I, Too, Am Singing America. I enjoyed those two poems the most because it showed what different races tried to make a living with what they were doing, even though they were being hated by the whites. Mendez was thanking his ancestors for being hated by the whites just so he can make a living. Hughes describes himself and other blacks as the darker brother. He spoke up for himself because he disagrees with what Whitman was saying.
