Nobles owned lands and controlled lands rather than rice
Religion is more important to the Europeans

Emperor had command however had no power, they were royalty but did not have as much control as the Shoguns
Daimyo paid the samurai in rice not in land
Religion did not mean as much to Japanese
Peasants
Castles
Daimyo and Nobles have same jobs
Knights and Samurai had same objectives and jobs
Both had religion
