it has onther name
blood moon.
it can only take place when there is a full moon.
solar
it happens when the moon is in the way of the sun.
if you look at it you could go blind.
there are four different tipes of solar eclipes called total,partial, annular,and
hibrid eclipes.
they both happen because of the alinement of the sun,earth, and moon!
they are both rare things to see.
