1.First build a venn diagram with
three circles each representing those who believe in UFOs(U),Big Foots (B)and Ghosts (G)respectively.
2.place those who believe in all
(U∩G∩B)=2
3.Place those who belive in 2 subtracting (U∩G∩B)=2 in all
(U∩G) = 11 – 2 =9
(U∩B) = 4-2= 2
(G∩B) = 6-2=4
4.find those who believe in one subtrating those believed in all or two
n(UFOs)= 42-(2+9+2)= 29
n(B)=21-(2+2+4)= 13
n(G)=45-(2+9+4)=30
5.those believing in atleast one=
(U∪G∪B)= adding the all venn
29 + 9 + 30 + 2 + 2 + 4 + 13 = 89.
total number = 89
