1. Give each group a clipboard and a piece of paper so they can write down the decoded questions and their answers to them.
2. Explain to the students that the codes are hidden around the school. Each team will get ONE point for each question they correctly decode and copy down onto their sheet, and a further TWO points if they can then provide the correct answer and write this down underneath the question.
3. Away they go! The winner is the first team to return with the most correct answers in the time available. This could be within a lesson, or during a lunchbreak, or even over several days!

1. 1. Every student at OHHS has their own Google Account. If you don't know how to access your account, ask for help at the High School Library. Once you get into your account, send an email to lbain@ohsd.net with QR Scavenger Hunt in the subject line. Write your user name on your paper. | differs by student |
2. 2. In the Fiction section of the High School Library, many of the books have either an orange or red dot on the upper part of the spine. 3. 3. This quest item is multi-part and is a true test of your techni-ness. OHHS High School students have free access to audiobooks and ebooks through a program called OneClickDigital. To use them you have to do four things in this order: First, you need to know the access code, which is OHSD. Second, go to http://oakharborsdwa.oneclickdigital.com and create an account. Third, go to your app store and download both OneClickDigital apps. One is for audiobooks and one is for ebooks. Fourth, the ebook app will prompt you to make an Adobe ID. Now, use each app to select and download an item of your choice. 4. 4. All the schools in the Oak Harbor School District use the same program for their catalogs, which is called Destiny. All students can use the catalog as a guest to simply look search for materials, but at the High School, students can log in to an account of their own to access features that are not available to guest users. To log in to your own account, go to the Library Catalog, then click on the Login button at the upper right. Your user name is your lunch number and the password is library. Find the book "Using Your Destiny Account" and place a hold on it. | A hold request will appear on the item. |
5. 5. EasyBib is a tool that helps create citations and organize your research. Every student at OHHS has an account. To login, go to http://www.EasyBib.com, then click on Login in the upper right corner. Then enter your school Google username and password and click on the Login button. 6. 6. Safari Montage is a video library that students and staff have access to. Go to your app store and download the app for Safari Montage, or go to http://safari.ohsd.net. Then choose Oak Harbor High School and login with your student number and password. Then click on the Search tab and type OHHS in the Keyword box and hit enter. Choose one of the videos to watch.
