1. Arrange students into groups. Each group needs at least ONE person who has a mobile device.

1. Give each group a clipboard and a piece of paper so they can write down the decoded questions and their answers to them.
2. Explain to the students that the codes are hidden around the school. Each team will get ONE point for each question they correctly decode and copy down onto their sheet, and a further TWO points if they can then provide the correct answer and write this down underneath the question.
3. Away they go! The winner is the first team to return with the most correct answers in the time available. This could be within a lesson, or during a lunchbreak, or even over several days!

| 1. The library catalog will be very helpful when you want to search for a book. This question is going to help you learn different ways of searching for books in the Casey library catalog. How many books does Casey have with the words "Middle School" in the title? | 38 If this is not the answer you found, try typing "Middle School into the search box and click on Title. The catalog will then tell you the number of books that Casey has with the words "Middle School" in their title. | 2. A title search helps you to find books when you know the title of the book or part of it. Sometimes you do not know the name of the book, but you know that you need to find a book about a specific topic. When you need a book on a specific topic, but you do not know the title or author, you can do a Subject search. Right now you are in the 000 section. As you move along the Non-Fiction books, you will notice that the numbers get higher. Since you know the call numbers get higher from where you are, where do you think the 900-999 books are located?
