1. Arrange students into groups. Each group needs at least ONE person who has a mobile device.

1. Give each group a clipboard and a piece of paper so they can write down the decoded questions and their answers to them.
2. Explain to the students that the codes are hidden around the school. Each team will get ONE point for each question they correctly decode and copy down onto their sheet, and a further TWO points if they can then provide the correct answer and write this down underneath the question.
3. Away they go! The winner is the first team to return with the most correct answers in the time available. This could be within a lesson, or during a lunchbreak, or even over several days!

| 1. How to do the scavenger hunt: You will find the QR Codes at the listed businesses below. You will need to download a free QR code scanner to your phone. When you scan the code you will see 3 clues to a fairy tale. You will find at least 1 clue to take a photo of (all 3 if you are up to the challenge) and submit that photo and your guess of the fairy tale to ccplkidsdept@gmail.com. The QR codes are numbered, so you can attach the number to your guesses. Once you have found all 12 fairy tales, you will be entered into a drawing at the end of our summer reading program. You must submit all 12 to be entered into the drawing.
