Lord Byron
I am George Gordon Byron, I was born in London on January 22, 1788. I was an English poet considered one of the most versatile and important writers of Romanticism. I became involved in revolutions in Italy and Greece.
My daughter Ada Lovelace contributed in the invention of the Analytical Engine along with Charles Babbage.
In 1805 I moved to the University of Cambridge. Here, besides being a brilliant student, I highlighted by my extravagant costumes and my licentious and wasteful life.
Moreover, as in the school it doesn't allow to have dogs or cats, me, an animal lover, I decided to have a monkey as pet.
I was very fond of writing poetry and at this time, and I learned boxing and fencing, being an expert in both arts of fighting. I left university for lack of money and moved to the street Picadilly 16 of London, where I was the lover of a prostitute. Then, already without money, I went with my mother to Southwell and dedicated myself body and soul to poetry. This year I published my first book of poems, titled '' Fleeting Compositions', thanks to a friend of mine, Elisabeth Pigot, which I happened to clean their written and edited. However, the pastor of the area did not allow went on sale and burned, because in one of the poems went wrong stop about a Mary.
I endured much ridicule and rejection by my deformity, but eventually I learned to defend myself. Besides lameness I suffered much from the cold, and my bones were always fragile, and they caused me great discomfort.
I was a prolific writer. In 1833 my publisher John Murray published 17 volumes on all my work, including the biography of Thomas Moore. My great work, Don Juan, a poem of 17 songs, was one of the most important long poems published in England, from Paradise Lost John Milton. Don Juan influenced, political, literary and ideological social level. It was the inspiration for the Victorian authors.
I influenced in the romantic authors of the nineteenth century, especially for their heroes or antiheroes. His characters have an idealized but flawed character whose attributes include:
Great talent
Great display of passion
Aversion to society and social institutions
Frustration by an impossible love because of the limits imposed by society or death

Self-destructive behavior.
