1886
Coca-Cola is first served at Jacobs Pharmacy on May 8, 1886. This year, 9 drinks were sold per day. Then the company accountant Frank Robinson names a drink "Coca-Cola" and imagining that the letters "C" s would look good in advertising, he traces the famous Spencerian logo.
1899
The Coca-Cola bottling company begins when the first bottling contract is signed in 1899. The "Hutchinson" format bottles are used for the product.

1971
Originally created for a radio commercial and later for television, the "I'd like to buy the World a Coke" commercial becomes an international success, and is still one of Coca-Cola's most popular commercials.
1993
Classic Coca-Cola polar bears are featured in the "Northern Lights" commercial.
2015
Coca-Cola becomes the official sponsor of the Colombian Soccer Team.
