Family History:
My Parent's, Leah Posner and Arnold Spielberg, were Jewish. My father enlisted in the army, after my parent's first and only date. They kept in touch, and when he came home, they were married the next year. I have three younger sisters, Anne, Sue, and Nancy.Later in life I married Amy Ivring, and we had a son named Max together. In 1989 we divorced. Then I met Kate Capshaw. When we married we already had a fairly sized family. Max (my son), Jessica (Kate's daughter), and Theo (Kate's adopted African American son). We later had another daughter, Sasha in 1990.

Early years:
I was never settled real well in any town. I always moved because of my father's job, they transferred him a lot. The town's I've been to are: I was born in Ohio. Then we moved to Camden, New Jersey. Haddon Township, New Jersey. Finally we moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Going from school to school was hard for me, I was always the new guy in class and I never had many friends as a kid.Sometimes a thought an extra-terrestrial friend would be nice. (E.T.)
