Teachers on Twitter

These automated lists update automatically from Twitter on a daily basis.
They are designed to help teachers connect quickly on Twitter to exchange ideas and resources.

 

How does it work?
The code searches for people using hashtags linked to particular subjects (e.g. "#historyteacher").
It then reads each person's Twitter biography, and adds them to the directory if this includes reference to that hashtag or to that school subject (e.g. "History Teacher"):
