I  am in tears because of the dilemma and the tough decision I have  to make.

me staying 1 more week will not make much of a difference, I should give the weather another chance to clear up

I wanted to climb K2, but I also wanted to be with my children. 

The camp at  base of K2 was covered on the Godwin-Austen , it was very cold but I had the companion of other climbers, weather was very bad

The 2 other climbers with me gave me companionship and confidence

When I got to camp 4, the winds were very strong and i fear I might get knocked off (foreshadowing)

I wanted to inspire other women to do their best and defy society’s standards

I’d like to be the first woman to climb the 6 tallest mountains in the world
