Hexagon learning allows students to identify links between factors very effectively. Students categorise and link factors together for deeper understanding of the relationship between factors. I have written a detailed blogpost about hexagon learning here.

John had study problems because he could not catch up with the work.

He was upset and confused because he thought no one could help him.

One day, a "friend" of his friend offered him some drugs.

John did not know how to refuse and he wanted to "fit in" the group.

This was how John took drugs for his first time.

Soon, he had the second time and the third time.

Within a short time, he became addicted to drugs.

He suffered from poor health and his school work became much worse.

He also stole from his family to buy drugs.

John wanted to stop taking drugs but the withdrawal was very painful.

He finally realised that he had more problems.
