Analog

Information that is translated into electric pulses and or varying amplitudes.
-Analog signal is continous signal that means physical measurements.
-Denoted by sine waves
-Examples: Human voice in air, analog electronic devices

Digital

Translation of information into binary format (zero or one), where each bit of representative of two distinct amplitudes.
-Digital signals are time signals generated by digital modulation.
-Denoted by square waves
-Examples: Computers, CD's, and DVD's

-Comparison-
