after the fall of the Roman Emppire
~had barely any medical,academic,and
trade accomplishments
~wars and chaos
~ cities were destroyed
~ many people werestarving and homeless
~crusaders brought goods and trchnology that expaned european knowledge.
~took place from the 8th-13th centuries
~ both were ended due to the crusaders
~religions spread around
