Golden Age (Islam)

-Arabic became the main language of religion, culture, philosophy, medicine, and poetry.
Dark/Middle Ages (Europe)
-The fall of the Roman Empire.
-The birth of feudalism, a political, economic, and social system. Your position, (king/queen, noble, knight, or peasant,) was based on the ownership of land.
-The introduction of gunpowder killed the castle.
-Many wars.
-Existed in roughly the same time period.
-Used the same medical textbook.
-Crusades.
