Poor Public Schools
Students are stricken
with serious poverty and suffering.
Gangs have highly infiltrated schools.
Bullying is worse.
Violence is worse.
My School
Has many opportunities for students and has better standards compared to poor schools in Latin America.
Private Schools
Have higher expectations, standards, and more opportunities for students.
Bullying still occurs in schools like mine.
Bullying can occur in private schools and poor public schools.
Both have higher quality resources, food, and
infrastucture.
All have the goal of enhancing the students knowledge
Latin America Schools
Dropout rates in Latin America and the United states arefrom multiple things. In the U.S. some of it is poverty but also laziness and financial difficulty. However in Latin America students want to get out of poverty by going to school, yet poverty never prevails in taking the opportunities away. Poverty creates social imbalances in communities and can cripple towns. Poverty increases the likelihood of gang presence and violence which also does not help the Latin American communities. Who knows when it will stop..?
