Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born on the 14th of March 1879 and he died on the 18th of April 1955 at 76 years old. He is well known for his general theory of relativity, which is one of greatest theories created, and is a keystone for modern physics and Quantum Mechanics. He is also well known for his equation E=mc² (Energy=Mass x Speed of light squared). He won a Nobel Prize in 1921 for his "services to theoretical physics). Albert Einstein is regarded as being a genius and one of the greatest scientists ever.

Max Planck

Max Planck is widely accepted as the founder of Quantum Mechanics, a feat which earned him a Nobel prize in 1918. His Quantum theory changed how many people viewed atomic processes and laid the ground for continuing research into Quantum Mechanics.

Werner Heisenberg

Werner Heisenberg was a German theoretical physicist who was particularly knowledgeable about Atomic Nuclei, controversy still surrounds his atomic research during WWII.

Max Von Laue

Max Von Laue was a German Physicist who made significant contributions to Quantum Mechanics and the General theory of relativity. He was also a strong objector to National Socialism.

Arnold Sommerfield

Arnold Sommerfield was a German Physicist who helped to advance our knowledge of Quantum Mechanics. He was also credited with educating many students about Quantum Mechanics, ensuring that the next generation had enough knowledge to carry on with the work of these scientists.
