People have been visiting Hunstanton for well over a hundred years, arriving at the Railway Station which is no longer there. The picture shows the start of the pier, and the Green going up to the Golden Lion Hotel in the centre at the top of the picture. How are people dressed compared to today, and how are they using the beach?
The FAMOUS STRIPY CLIFFS
Made from three layers of rock: chalk and carstone, they are being worn away slowly by coastal erosion as well as the action of the weather.
