Bernice L. McFadden, the eldest of four children, is a remarkable writer. She pursued her education in her hometown Brooklyn, New York, where she was also born, until high school when she moved to Danville, Pennsylvania and continued to expand her knowledge in Cyril Academy, an all-girls boarding school. With her wide and wild imagination, McFadden had an early start with her love of writing. In fact, she had her first story written at the age of eight. However surprisingly when McFadden entered college her desire was to be an International clothing buyer. Her first career as an author did not pursue until she had her first daughter. Today she stands as a beholder of many well-deserved awards and a title of a successful author.
