Her sang carrier started when she became lead singer of the band Destiny Child, when they took a little pauze with the band, Beyoncé released her first album called: Dangerously in Love. That was in the year 2003. The album was sold 11 million times and she also achieved five Grammy Awards for it. The most popular songs of this album were Crazy in love and Baby boy. After this album she released 14 more albums and the most popular of those are 4, with the songs Love on top and Run the world and I am ... Sasha Fierce the platinum edition, with the songs Single ladies, Halo and if I were a boy. Beyoncé is the most sold solo artist ever, she won 20 Grammy Awards and is also the most nominated woman for the Grammy's

Lady Gaga or Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta or Lady Gaga, was born on the 28th of march 1986 in New York. She Is a American singer, songwriter, actress and pianist. In 2006 Lady Gaga signed a contract at Def Jam Recordings, but after 3 months the label dropped her. So in 2007 she got a new
contract at Streamline Records but that label quit. So in 2008 she finally got a good label called RedOne. Together they wrote her debate song called Just Dance, the song became a worldwide success. They also wrote Poker Face and LoveGame, after writhing those songs she got a contract at a new label called Interscope Records, there she started with her debate album. In total she produced six albums. Popular songs Lady Gaga wrote are for example Born This Way, Bad Romance, Alejandro and Applause. She is also well know because of her fashion style

Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran was born on the 17th of February in 1991. Ed’s carrier started in 2005, but his first album came out in 2011. The album was called + (plus). The most popular songs of his first album are The A Team and Lego House. The A team was sold a 58 thousand times in the first week of the release, and it also got on the second place in the UK Singles Chart. Ed released his second album in 2014, this album was called x (multiply) the most popular songs of this album are Thinking out loud and Photograph. Other popular songs are I see fire, which is used for the hobbit. And he also wrote love yourself, but Justin Bieber sang it. And his last and probably most popular album came out in 2017 this album is called ÷ (divide) the most popular songs of this album are Shape of you, Castle on the hill, Galway Girl and Happier

Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber was born on the 1st of March in 1994. Justin was discovered on you tube where he posted sing and piano videos. In 2008 signed Justin a record deal with Island Records and he released his first song in 2009 the song was called One time. After his first song a couple of other songs came out called One Less Lonely Girl, Favorite Girl and Love Me. In the year 2010 Justin came out with
three other albums called My World, My World 2.0 and Never Say Never. During the Christmas of 2011 Justin came with a song called Mistletoe and a couple of months after that song he released a new album called Believe, the most popular songs of this album were Boyfriend, As Long as you Love Me, and Beauty and A Beat, But his most popular album came out in 2015 and was called purpose, the most popular songs of this album are What Do You Mean, Love Yourself and Sorry

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is born on the 22nd of 1995, in London. She made her debut in 2015 with the song New Love, but that song was not very popular so most of the people don’t know that song. Her second song called Be The One was way more popular and got in the charts of the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Bulgari. On the second of June 2017 Dua Lipa came out with her first album called Dua Lipa, there were five songs on the album called: Be The One (2015), Last Dance (2016), Hotter than Hell (2016), Blow Your Mind (2016), Lost in your Light (2017) and New Rules (2017). Dua Lipa is on the moment very popular and on the 5th of November she is going to perform in Amsterdam, and after that she’s also going to perform in Antwerp.

Spice Girls

The spice girls is a British girls group which exist of Victoria Adams, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Geri Halliwell. The group was created by Bob Herbert and his son Chris and was called Touch, actually Emma wasn’t part of the group but there was another girl called Michelle Stephenson when she decided that she was not part of the group, she leaved and so came Emma. Bod and Chris promised the girls to give a contract at a label, but they never got that contract so Bob and Chris also leaved the group and so the group hadn’t got a manager and a label anymore, accept that the girls decided to go on, and so they became one of the most popular girls group in the world with a lot of popular songs for example: Wannabe, Goodbye and Friendship never ends

The Macarena

The Macarena is not a singer but a song, made by the singers Rafael Ruíz and Antonio Romero Monges they called themselves Los del Río. The song is about a girl called Macarena or a girl from the Mexican city Macarena. The Macarena came out in 1993, but the song became popular in 1996, because a record company made a remix of the song. What made the song very popular was the dance. I think most of the people know the dance from for example carnival or other parties. The remix is not the only version of the Macarena, there is also a Christmas version, the same song as the Macarena, but then with Christmas sounds

Adelle

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on the 5^th of May 1988, she is a British singer with a lot of popular songs. In the year 2006 Adelle finished at the BRIT school, where she wrote a couple of songs called Hometown Glory, My Same and Daydreamer. The Boyfriend of Adelle placed all her songs at Myspace and so she was discovered by XL Recordings where she signed a contract in 2007. In the year 2012 Adelle wrote a couple of songs for films, for example Skyfall. In 2006 Adelle decided to take a break and so she gave 4 more concerts and
stopped. Her last and I think most popular album was called 25 the songs on that album were: When we were Young, Hello, Send my Love, I miss You, Remedy, Water under the Bridge, River lea, Love in the Dark, Million years ago, All I ask and Sweetest Devotion

One Direction

One Direction or 1D is a British and Irish boyband witch exist of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Mallik and Louis Tomlinson. The band was created during the British X-Factor of 2010. They all joined the competition on their own, but when they all didn’t get to the next round their coach Simon Cowell decided to make a boyband with the five boys. They ended on the 3th place, but after X-Factor they stayed together and produced their first song called Forever Young. Later they got a contract at Syco and made another song called What makes you Beautiful, and most of the people say that this was the real first song of 1D. The boys made a lot of songs together, but in 2015 Zayn Mallik decided to go start a solo carrier, and after that the whole boyband stopped, and all the boys went on
with a solo carrier

Talent Contests

In those lines I’m going to tell something Dutch talent contests, and because there are a lot of talent contest this is going to be a sort summary from the most important ones. The first one is Idols, started in the year 2002 on Rtl 4 the program had a short break from 2008 until 2016, but now it’s still on the tv. This program is the Dutch version of the British talent contest Pop Idol. After Idols there came a new program in the year 2006, and was called X-Factor. It was actually an English talent show, but the Netherlands copied it. The last talent show is The Voice of Holland created in the year 2010 in the Netherlands by Roel van Velsen and John de mol. After the first season the Voice also became a very popular in a lot of other countries, they all took the same name, but accept of ‘HOLLAND’ they called their own country.
