The source is The Sorrows of Yamba or the Negro Woman's Lamen, it is a poem by Hannah More it was written in 1797. This source suggest that slavery was wrong because this poem shows what that poor lady went through now days it’s not everyday you get taken from your home and forced to be some random persons slave. For example, it shows that once a woman gave birth to a baby the baby would be taken from the mothers arms then is brought up as a slave probably by the age of twelve they would start working on the fields. This is evidence to support the abolition of slavery because no child or mother should go through that no one should be taken from their own home. If a child was going to be taken from their mothers arms to be brought up into slavery and start working and not have a normal life by the age of twelve no one should go trough that.

the Horrors Of Negro Slavery

This source is a picture of shackles used on slaves through out time of slavery, they used the shackles on the fields when the slaves were planting and picking out the things they grow. There was a lot of slaves trying to escape so they bring out the shackles to prevent them from running or running to far. This source suggests to me that slavery was wrong because you just cant chain people up I personally didn’t think about if the roles were switched what if it was then being chained up how would they feel wouldn’t they want to escape too? This is evidence because how could other people walk around fields and watch these people work while being chained up they should give the slaves a choice of they want to work or not, not just take them from their homes.

This source is a poster made is 1769, it’s a poster that is trying to grab people’s attention by selling slaves it explains how many men, women and girls that are to be sold to the sick people that own slaves. This source suggests slavery was wrong because how could be be selling ‘NEGROSE’ out on the street they have there own homes they have there own families to take care of not someone else’s land not someone else’s horse or their children. For example is shows a person with a child next to it so it probably means that they don’t care what age they are means they have no heart. Out Rage People About Slavery

It’s source is a poster about the abolition of slavery it was brought out to the towns people to see in February 27 1837. In this source it say how outraged they are that people are doing this taking ten from their homes s they want to gather people that will support there argument and protest against the people that have and support having slaves in the country. For example this source shows that there were some normal people put there that do NOT support slavery and are against people getting hurt for no reason. They protested and finally the people against slavery won and slavery was banned from the country and eventually every other country followed along. This source supports the abolition of slavery because no matter how much people over power the idea the stronger ones come out and overpower if it’s wrong it’s wrong you can’t just keep people to do your own dirty work.

Whip

This source is a picture of a whip used on slaves, it was used through 1807 but was used more frequently when it got closer to 1833 that’s when slavery was know to everyone. This source suggests to me that they marked people’s skin by whipping them if they didn’t obey orders, working to slow and looks like there planing to do something bad. For example the picture is just rope and a stick connected it’s better than the whips we have these days but it’s still bad rope hurts to when using it like that. This is evidence to support that abolition of slavery because they are not animals to be hit if they did something wrong or for no reason just for the sake of looking tough, I am also against animal getting hit but these are humans not animals.
