Could distract and effect soldiers. Burned soldiers and caused a living Hell for the British when the Germans brought them into the war.
Poisonous gases
Affected soldiers when breathed into lungs. Killed and put soldiers into critical condition.
Gas Masks
Brought into the war to protect from poisonous gas. It was also used on animals because they were being affected by the gasses as well.
Submarine
Submarines were used to sink ships. Provided another way to sneak up on ships and prevent them from giving the enemy supplies.
Planes
Planes provided a whole new fighting field in the sky. Also, they could affect the soldiers on the ground.
Tanks
Tanks were put on the battlefield on September 15th, 1916. German and British were surprised to see this new form of technology.
