Intertidal Zone-area that is above water at the lowest low tide and highest high tide.
Intertidal Zone
The Intertidal Zone isn't that deep and kind of ranges through the same temperatures. Its has two different parts; rocky/sandy.
Rocky Zone
This the rocky area of the zone.
Sandy Zone
This is the sandy part of the zone.
1. Major Animal (Mussels)
This is on major animal in the intertidal zone.
2. Major Animal of Zone (Crab)
Again, this one here is the most common animal to be seen in this zone. It mostly lived on the sandy part.
Ocean Potato
An ocean potato is a very rare but common plant in the area. It gets its name from its shape and form.
Feather boa Kelp
This is a type of kelp--no, not from Plankton's "Kelp Shake". This one gets the name with "feather" because, of the feather-like sides and "strip" in the middle.
Bivalves have a "clam" like shape. The pink thing outside its shell is what they call a "foot". Bivalves use that sometimes to get around to different places.
(Bivalves-had to put title here because, it wouldn't let me put it in the box).
Waste/Pollution
Waste/Pollution effects the zone ENTIRELY. This affects plant/animal life. If it continues, plants will die and animals wont have anything and will either make a dangerous transition or die from starvation.
