Another interpretation is that the woman is Divinci's mother because when the painting was created others put forth that the smile was similar to hers. The last interpretation and most interesting is that the painting is a self-portrait of Divinci himself. This is believed because the facial features of the Mona Lisa resemble Divinci's.
