She participated on Germany's first talking film Der Blaue Engel 1930 by Hollywood director Joseph von Sternberg. She died in May 6 1992 in Paris.
Inspirations
Heavily inspired on Vicent Van Gogh's work. Expressionists were less concerned with producing aesthetically pleasing compositions as they were with creating powerful reactions to their work through the use of bright, clashing colors, flat shapes, and jagged brushstrokes. Similar to expressionists paintings, expressionists sought to convey the inner, subjective experience of its subjects.

Born 5 December 1890 Austrian-German filmmaker. One of the better known émigrés of the expressionism school, dubbed the Master of Darkness . In 1920, he met his future wife, the writer Thea von Harbou. She and Lang co-wrote all of his movies from 1921 through 1933, including Ar Mabuser, Der Spieler (Dr. Mabuse the Gambler; 1922), which ran for over four hours in two parts in the original version. One of his most known films was Metropolis 1924 wich went far over budget and nearly destriyed the Ufa, which was bought by right-winged politician Alfred Hugenberg.
