Erwin Piscator. Born 1893. He is known to be a more radical artist/playwriter who was associated with the "dada" movement. This movement was intentionally anarchistic in nature, as its motto was "Kunst ist scheisse" or "art is shit". He was also known for his political undertones and his opinionated versions of Germany in his plays. To the point where he, in 1929, published a book called "The political theatre".
He would use unusual methods to help portray his plays, such as projectors.
