Before the dangerous mysterious life of the British, the indigenous were quiet calming and helpful. Even when the miners came they helped them, but before there were nice green trees. Beautiful un-hollow mountains and mostly no dirty rivers. The rivers shone with gold as the indigenous people didn't care about gold because it doesn't worth anything to them.

there are hardly any trees here and it is early in the goldrush but there are already so many people tents and the lifestyle has changed so much.
The Super Pit
The super pit is a really really big mine with measurements of 3.5 km long,1.5 km wide and over 600 meters deep. This super Pit would have been good for minning but now they can find no more gold it is useless.
Working real hard
In this photo the Minners are working really hard but they are probably not thinking of what will happen when all the gold has been mined. They have cut down trees and had to burn materials to make the metel.they should think before they mine.
Horse, Dray, Mud
The horses went crazy, they made huge foot prints in the droopy dirt, threw rocks all across shop roofs and pushed mud all over everyone. There was coal thrown on the ground making smoke and burning wood (bark).
This is a beautiful lake i know but don't get fooled by the beauty this is mercury inside the lake and mercury can kill humans because of the poison,
Steam in the air Because of one thing
In this photo there is steam in the air because of of a mine. This means the air is polluted and this is very bad for the environment.
Panning AND Panning
This Chinese man is Panning for Gold and when you pan for gold you are stoping rivers and you are wasting water.
Cutting down trees
These men thing they will mine and find gold here and it doesn't matter they are cutting down all these trees but trees clean the air and are apart of the environment so they should not have cut down all these trees. The temptation might be big for paper wood to build a house or even to make a fire but you should NOT cut down trees.
