Green anoles lived on an island. The brown anoles arrived on their island. They ate some of the green anoles. That caused the green anoles to have babies that were faster. The babies had more sticky toe scales that made them faster climbers.
BEAVER
The beaver builds dams in it's environment. The dams are important in nature. Beaver dams are like filters that keep chemicals and toxins out of rivers. They are also harmful. Dams can cause flooding that hurts crops and farm animals.
CORAL REEF
Coral reefs are in tropical waters and are a habitat for ocean creatures. Warm water has caused a type of damage caused coral bleaching. By 2050, corals could become rare. The waters are warmer and the ocean is more acidic because of more carbon dioxide in the air.
NO PLASTIC
Using plastic hurts the environment. This is happening because plastic is used more now. I am going to stop using so much plastic. I will stop using plastic bags for snacks and lunch. I will remind my mom to bring reusable bags when she goes grocery shopping. The outcome is that less plastic will hurt the environment.
