Light of the World
Many will say that he is a hero, in my opinion he his in fact a hero, he created a work space were he hired people to work for him, he also continued to be himself after all the failure, that he wasn't consented and worked with other people.
One thing that made him be a hero is that with the company that he made there was job opportunities. “the Voice of America proclaimed Thomas Edison was probably responsible for one-fourth of all the jobs on the planet.” In this quote from a website is an example of the impact Thomas edison had on the people and how he was responsible for a lot of the jobs. With these people that he had this work system. With this work system that meant there were many more ideas on other peoples inputs that he had to put into consideration and that also meant there was more mistakes and setbacks that could happen too. One of thomas edison's quotes that states “ Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” . this is an example of the passion and the good intentions that he had to make sure that even though there were many things that failed he still stayed positive and worked hard. Not only was he creative and was creatively deaf, he faced this the condition of losing hearing meaning that he wasn't normal and that there was something different about his body and the way he thinks and how he had to work and push himself harder in trying to keep going and be the genius he was. This quote from the PBS News hour stats that “ was his profound deafness, which he considered to be a blessing because it allowed him to think and read with total concentration” . Which to a lot of people were shocked and didn't know he was deaf. Now after all he did and all the trial and error he went through and especially with the creation of the light building many will say that he wasted a lot of resources and because it took so much time that it doesn't really matter that he created the light bulb he had already tried so many other was there was almost no point. If those people only knew how much we use light now days and just how important this little step forward would be.

Thomas edison is a hero for the fact the he helped create jobs for people from all around the world to help them find a place to work and let their creative sides come out and continuously improve things. This showed that he wanted to be successful but share the success with other people. Also at a very young age he had a rough struggle of being smart in school, that didn't stop him from working hard and still being himself Not only that but he also faced a devastating mutation of losing his hearing, which was another struggle that he was faced with and he overcame to be the best he could. Lastly, even though there were many failures in the long run he started a great system of voice recording and electricity, leaving the next generation to pick up where he left off and create new and better things.
