Hi I am Davis Sacher and this is my science art gallery. I hope you enjoy it!
Tempature
Temperature is a measurement of thermal energy in an object. It is the measurement of the average value of the kinetic energy of the molecules in random motion. It is measured in three scales, Kelvin, Celsius, and Fahrenheit. Temperature is independent of how much matter there is.
Heat
Thermal energy or heat is the moment of the particles s of matter.( It is the sum of the kinetic and potential energy of the particles in matter). The faster the particles are moving the more thermal energy. Also the slower the particles are moving the less the thermal energy it has.
Conduction
Conduction is the transfer of thermal energy between two substances that are in direct contact with each other.
Convection
Convection is thermal energy that is transfers from hot place to cold places. It occurs in fluids
Radiation
Radiation is thermal energy transmitted through empty spaces with electromagnetic waves. It occurs in gasses
Thermal equilibrium
thermal equilibrium occurs when two substances are at a different temperature. The two temperatures will mix until they reach the same temperature.
