From another artist-- personally really liked this one because it illustrates this chaotic feel, and I am assuming that the "High finance" she is talking about is something related to hyperinflation? This is just a guess dont take my word for it
Dadaism
Basically artists part of this movement would use their art to express their emotions towards society.
e.g. this artwork by George Grosz shows how he thought that WW1 "butchered" Germany.
George Grosz
For example, in this piece called "Grey day" he shows the different classes of Germany, and by making the rich guy look cross-eyed it makes it seem like hes stupid and oblivious to what hes doing with his life.
ALSO I CANT UPLOAD THE IMAGE so hopefully you can just search up "grey day" and see the wonderful piece of art he has produced
otto dix - metropolis
This painting shows a group of prostitutes completely ignoring war veterans and instead only focusing on the people who look rich(and probably are rich)
The blue riders
This is a series of paintings done by the wonderful Paul Klee, and a bunch of other less famous people(but equally important). The painting I chose was not done by him but i thought it looked cool so I'm using this picture.
never mind i cant upload the image, so ya lol thats sad
