Before the affects of urbanization people in small towns lived a quieter life

In rural villages travel was slow and as such so was the spread of news and change. Home life for villagers was very close to work life, with fields close by or a workshop adjacent. everyone in a family worked, the sons worked with there fathers with farming and live stock, the daughters helped there mothers with cleaning, cooking, sewing, and other chores with the work hours being from dawn to dusk. an average life span at this time was forty, with people getting married in there teens and being pregnant in there twenty's, it was common for women to die in child birth bringing marriages to about fifteen years.

The compition between the rich and the many for farm land saw little struggle

With new advances in farming and new techniques larger farms with more money could use more land. these big farms wanted more and more and so they bought out small family farms to satisfy the growing hunger for money that the owners had. this would leave family's with no where to work so they moved into new places or places with factories.

The affects that lead to the urbanization had on the people and place that they lived on

with the agriculture revolution and the new farming techniques that came with it the machine know as the industrial revolution finale had some gears turning. with the innovation of an autonomous loom producing quality textiles at a steady pace women in the house hold could not keep up. with the promise of riches, capitalists come to the small towns and villages and set up factory's and with an allure of work from family's put out of a job more and more people turning a small quite village into a loud urban destination.

The working conditions for working women during the industrial revolution was extremely poor

Factory life of a woman was degrading. Women where payed little money for there grueling work but where forced to abide by the owner who could change there wage at any time. some jobs women had to work like having a mine cart chained on to them, pulling it up to deliver coal. work and pay where so bad that in dire times women would begin to do prostitution just to get by.

The working conditions for working children during the industrial revolution was extremely poor

children where the back bone of spinning mills and other factory settings. some children where auctioned off to the highest bidder others put into parish apprenticeships. children in theses mills where given poor food and only slept for a couple hours each night. They where never payed

Female workers going against the factory in order to change work conditions

With the terrible work conditions women had they wanted change, more specifically they wanted more pay, payed sick leave, and decency and respect when working. when the factory's did not comply with there demands they resisted against the factory's. Working women resisted in many ways such as joining a trade union, striking, and violating contracts (if there was a contract).

The strain on life that brought rise to socialism

With the work many people working day in day out with little to show for it they wanted change. many people saw socialism as that change. with socialism there was more equality which affected everyone working and the promise for more say in government affairs.
