Harsh Times about Factories and Mines-

Caption- If you were poor during the time of the industrial Revolution, you would do anything to get money for your family and you were treated poorly. because people known that the lower class would do anything they would make you work for really long periods of time.

Description- The working hrs. were lasting from 12- 16hrs. to 6-7 days a week. This was not just for the Men or women but also for the children who also did laboring. They would hire more women than men in the factories before they knew that women were more well to manage to work with. They know that all these women wanted these jobs so they cheated them out and would only pay the women half as much of what they would pay the men. sometimes even less. Many factories had also hired many little boys and girls, their work had started at the youngest of the age 7-8. They had changed the hot humid textile mills and sometimes they couldn’t even see them because of dust. many very life risking jobs these children had to do.

The agricultural revolution Stage

Caption- In 1700's, British Farmers expanded on Dutch Agricultural experiments. Towns were very small and crammed. At the time men were known for the laboring and children were known for either helping or doing some type of a chore.

Description- In the 1750's 3 out of every 4 English men were rural and lived in small villages like the one in the picture above. It was really hard to find laboring jobs because there was no well transportation for the villagers. People did not know that they could travel and trade and get labor to other areas of the world yet. And if there were laboring around farming was the go to one.

Terrifying Stage of Population Growth!

Caption- In the 1700’s after the agricultural Revolution More and more people came to realize that they should explore more and start creating and trying new things. Population starts to grow..

Description - Great Britain in the 1700’s population had gone from around 5 million to about almost 9 million by 1800’s. During the same period Europe had gone from 120 million to then 180 million people. But because of these population growth they had to start making new things by now right? but it is still a very packed and small town but with huge groups of people in them.

New Technology

Caption- Technology starts to become a great part of the industrial revolution. In the late 1736-1819 James Watt had invented the steam engine. from there was the first start to many new beginnings.

Description- Because of James Watt and and partnership to get the steam engine to be a great hit many other factories helped and designed many technologies. Because of these business owners making new technologies they had changed the way work was done. Coal was a very well and popular source before anything in the industrial revolution then because of the Darby family Iron was a great hit and very much helpful.

New social classes start to emerge

Caption- In the beginning of the industrial revolution many people were just known to be poor there was never a ranking class until over time they had added two more social classes to be recognized as.

Description- The new social classes were as you see in the picture above, Poor on bottom, Then Middle class in the middle, Then very Wealthy people at the top. What was so strange about the middle class that they had added was they were known as very hard working, accomplishing people that had dressed very wealthy and lived in the great neighborhoods as if they were the top of the pyramid. But being Middle class was a respect to have just as much as if you were being on the top of the class.

Great Changes with Work-

Caption- Women and many working conditions were terrible. but then in the 1800’s they had finally made a law for the women to finally have reasonable working hrs.

Description- In the 1800's Women got reasonable working hours but the law also changed so that there are better working conditions for children and the women. Women also got paid just like the men because of this law. After this act very few people and families had such a hard time to get through these rough and accomplishing lifes.

Socialist making an impact-

Caption- Many people over the years have finally come to the reason why are we going against each other? why can we all not be as equal as that upper class person? Well socialist had made a change because of their voices.

Description- Child laboring came to an end the law had finally been passed! The new age limit if you wanted to start work was either age 16-18 depending on what the job may be. Many people wondered what the children would do then they wouldn't have no more laboring to do.

Child laboring coming to an end-

Caption- Children have been laboring for many years and many people just have not fought for them until the Socialist act where they believe that everyone should be equal.

Schooling!

Caption- Sense children were no longer doing and more laboring. they had made a law that they should start giving the children an education.

Description- Children at first had thought this would be a great change but then they had to deal with the teachers hurting them if they either did not like them or if the teachers believed that the student was doing bad behavior. The children had still gotten an education there were just a lot to handle while getting that.

The Final Look-

Caption- The industrial revolution had ended with finally equality for women and better education and an end to child labor for children. and Men getting the rights that they had thought they deserved.

Description- They made a beautiful semi function town. They have lots of transportation options, many factories coming up with many and building many things for their people. and the picture above is just the start.
