Joseph Stalin

Died: 5 March 1953

Stalin was the leader of the USSR which stands for the 'United Socialist Soviet Republics' he was in power between 1922 and until his death in 1953 he died at a age of 74 years old.

Developed the satellite state system following WW2 and Soviet Eastern Europe with a strict Communist economic measures, supported by repression and censorship.

Born into poverty in 1879 to an alcoholic cobber father and washerwoman mother, Stalin caught smallpox at the young age of 7
