In March 2020 the artist posted on Facebook his recent painting depicting Jewish ritual murder and asserting the validity of blood libel. He presents negative caricatures of the Jews while linking the image of the Christian child to Jesus on the cross. Gasparo's was removed from Facebook but not before it was widely circulated and picked up by several newspapers.

Thomas of Monmouth, a monk, tried to declare William a saint and foment hatred against the Jews by asserting that William was murdered as a religious act by neighboring Jews. This blood libel was not true but served to incite hatred and religious discrimination.
