Hannah Arendt was born in Hannover in 1906, she was a philosopher, writer, political thinker and journalist. She studied at the university of Marburg and got her doctorate in philosophy and wrote a theses called "On love and Saint Augustine" at the university go Heidelberg during the year 1929.
Later in life after fleeing Germany in 1933 because of the persecution of jewish people or those of jewish heritage and obviously, the political climate. She was imprisoned in France and managed to escape in 1940. After this she stated that she now had dedicated herself to the jewish cause and after the war wrote about politics, the holocaust as well as starting a university career.
