Audi type K (top right):
The car has been seen as one of the most technically
advanced cars of its time. It had a four-cylinder in-line 3.6 litre engine, an
aluminium cylinder block with replaceable cylinder liners. It had a maximum

Mercedes Benz SSK (bottom right):
The SSK was the last car designed for Mercedes-Benz
by Ferdinand Porsche before he left to found his own company. The SSK chassis
was 48CM shorter than its predecessor the Modell S to make the car even lighter
and more agile for racing, especially short races and hillclimbs.
Mercedes-benz 170(top left):
The 170 played a key role in enabling Daimler-Benz to
overcome the economic crisis. As total of 4 438 units were built in 1932, that
number alone being higher than the previous year's aggregate production volume
of all Mercedes-Benz passenger car models.
BMW R32(bottom left):
Until then all motorbikes followed the Douglas layout, that
had the cylinders assembled in line, making the refrigeration of the back
cylinder of a two stroke engine very hard. Engineers at BMW decided to place
them side by side, this layout is used in BMW motorbikes to this day.
