Which one is the most interesting for you?
Cthulhu
This creature is a cosmic being of terrifying power, described as being a manifestation of chaos and destruction.
Great Old One
Ancient, powerful creatures whose origins lie in the distant past of the cosmos, no two Great Old Ones are exactly alike, although they tend to share similar traits. Most are colossal monstrosities formed from the very fabric of the universe and virtually impossible to destroy, have minds whose thought processes are incomprehensible to humans, show little to no regard for the consequences their actions may have on lesser beings, and drive to insanity any who look upon their true form.
Shoggoth
Enormous beings who would measure some fifteen feet across if they formed their bodies into a sphere, Shoggoths are amorphous creatures composed of a malleable protoplasm, something akin to a colossal amoeba. They are capable of forming whatever organs or appendages they require for the task at hand, although their usual state is a writhing mass of eyes, mouths and wriggling tentacles.
Yog-Sothoth
Manifesting most commonly as a celestial collection of glowing spheres, Yog-Sothoth lives in co-existence with the entirety of time and space of all continua; as such, it knows all and sees all, yet is still locked out of the universe by unknown means. Despite this, it is an entity of vast knowledge and power, and those who treat with it may learn much; any who do so must be wary, however: as with many of the creatures of the beyond, the mere sight of Yog-Sothoth's full form is sufficient to drive the mortal mind over the edge of insanity.
Azathoth
Despite never being accurately described, it is suggested that Azathoth is a formless mass full of tentacles that inhabits the center of the primal chaos, which in reality is still an extension of his own being. He is usually represented with innumerable jaws and eyes, showing himself in this way as the purest concept of confusion and structural disorder.
Outer Gods
All Outer Gods are different from one another, but most share some basic characteristics: they are immensely powerful entities who have existed for untold millennia, they have thought processes and personal goals which are completely incomprehensible to the mortal mind, and they have physical forms the mere suggestion of which is enough to drive a man insane. In addition, due to their long war with the Elder Gods, most are currently either imprisoned in some remote location or completely locked out of our plane of existence, although all are able to exert a certain amount of influence through their considerable psychic abilities.
Dunwich Horror
Although usually invisible to the human eye, the Dunwich Horror could be rendered visible through the application of an arcane powder whose recipe is to be found in the ancient volume of evil known as the Necronomicon. Its true form was so alien to the mortal mind that simply to see it was to cause madness in the viewer, but it was known to be a creature of gargantuan proportions, easily capable of devouring several cattle (or for that matter, people) in a single sitting. It was also known to leave behind a dark, viscous substance wherever it went.
Nightgaunts
Spindly black humanoids, Nightgaunts have a tough, leathery skin, inward-curving horns, a whiplike tail with a barbed tip, vicious talons which they supposedly use to "tickle" their victims into submission, and large bat-like wings. They are universally silent, emitting no vocalisations and making not a sound even when in motion, but are known to dislike flying over water.
